Are you curious about how a fast-growing beauty brand works behind the scenes? Do you have an affinity with media and beauty and do you want to know what influencer marketing is all about? Gisou is looking for a highly motivated and proactive PR & Influencer Marketing Intern at the head office in Almere, per March 2021.

ABOUT US

Gisou by Negin Mirsalehi is a luxury haircare line by famous Dutch & Persian fashion influencer, Negin Mirsalehi. Founded in 2015, the brand has deep roots and a wonderful story of the coming together of family traditions. The signature ingredients within these staple products are honey and propolis, derived from the Mirsalehi Bee Garden where Negin and her father continue the 6-generation family tradition of beekeeping. Using nature's gifts Negin’s mother created a formula to transform hair which is rich in minerals, vitamins and antioxidants.

The mission of Gisou is to inspire people to appreciate and take care of their hair using nature-based products, and to feel beautiful while doing so. With their story they want to raise awareness about the importance of bees for the overall ecosystem, and shine a light on the incredible benefits of what they produce.

Gisou is currently available on and offline in over 30 countries, and continues to expand rapidly internationally. To continue on this growth trajectory, incredible interns to learn and grow with us.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a PR & Influencer Marketing Intern you are responsible for supporting the Marketing team within the PR department in the translation and implementation of the brand strategy in concrete plans regarding PR and Influencer Marketing. You work proactively and creatively in various PR and marketing related activities that contribute to increasing brand awareness of Gisou, often via Instagram. 

• Thinking strategically and creatively in making PR plans for influencer gifting launches, events and other campaigns
• Support in the design and implementation of Influencer Marketing Strategy
• Maintaining and expanding international influencer contacts
• Coordinating and send influencer-giftings
• Monitoring, storage and processing of social posts / clippings in monthly reports
• Assisting with new product launches and international events
• Keeping relevant trends in the market

WHO YOU ARE

• You are studying at HBO / WO and are looking for an internship for at least 6 months
• You are following a Marketing / Communication / Branding/Commercial Economics-related education
• You are resourceful, take initiative and you can easily work independently
• You are proactive, flexible and take responsibility for the result
• You have a passion for online and beauty
• You can often be found on Instagram and know and / or follow relevant fashion & beauty influencers
• You are able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• You have an eye for detail and work very organized and structured
• You can work under pressure and work towards deadlines
• You are fluent English both written and conversational
• You are aware of the latest trends, well-known international influencers and you have affinity with the media.
• You are looking for a full-time internship

WHEN

From February 2021, full-time for a minimum period of 6 months up to and including July 2021.
