Operations is a highly complex service department within APG Asset Management. The department connects various specialisms in the field of finance, IT and data and is responsible for the investment administration, operational processes and information provisioning of APG Asset Management. Operations is responsible for a wide range of essential business processes ranging from trade processing, cash and collateral management, accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, administration services. Moreover, Operations is producing several core information products and data services. Data is delivered to provide high-quality investment decision-making and reporting information to portfolio and risk management, fiduciary management, pension funds and supervisors. The users of information services must be able to rely on the correctness, timeliness and completeness of the information provided by Operations. By means of this, Operations ensures portfolio managers have access to reliable data, so they can achieve the best possible return for their investment portfolios.

As an Operations trainee, you will get to know all aspects of APG in two years’ time, by completing several assignments. Possible assignments include, but are not limited to, setting up new information infrastructures for specialties such as alternative investments or private equity cash flow, developing operations wide data quality frameworks, improving operational processes such as the credit risk mitigation processes in the cash and collateral team or advancing information products for the portfolio analytics & information services department. We will offer you a two-year contract with a € 3111 gross monthly salary (based on a 40-hour work week, excluding holiday pay and end-of-year bonus).
