We are looking for a PhD student to join the group of Van der Heide at the department of Radiation Oncology at the Netherlands Cancer Institute. Research in our group is focused on the use of MRI to guide radiotherapy of prostate cancer. In the FLAME project we study the use of a focal radiotherapy boost to improve the outcome for patients with prostate cancer. In your project, you will develop MRI-guided radiotherapy techniques to increase precision of focal boosting of prostate cancer to improve oncological outcome and reduce work involves development of advanced treatment planning strategies for MR-linac systems and evaluation in clinical studies.
