FOODLOGICA is an e-bike / e-van logistic service. We provide food entrepreneurs in Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam & Den Hague the best zero-emission transport option. All our vehicles are refrigerated and keep food cool during delivery. We are a young company but we like to stick to old values. We see our employees as the long-term advocates of our mission: clean the last mile of urban food systems.

The company is undergoing a scaling up process in the city of Amsterdam and in 3 more cities, so we are looking for a Control Tower Operator to manage customer queries and complaints, and to manage day-to-day questions of drivers about their deliveries. This is a junior position.

JOB DESCRIPTION

As our Control Tower Operator you help customers with complaints and questions, give customers information about their deliveries, and process address changes and delivery instructions. You will also support our drivers via our communication channel with questions about their deliveries. In addition, you will work together with our Planning Manager to professionalise and standardize our communication flow to customers and drivers. To do well in this role you need to be able to remain calm when customers (and drivers) are frustrated and have experience working with computers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Help solve daily hiccups with deliveries and promptly provide feedback to questions from clients and drivers
  • Track the ongoing deliveries and inform customers of potential delays
  • Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers and drivers at all times. 
  • Managing our general info email account and processing address changes and other customer requests
  • Keeping records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Providing feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Problem solving mindset and stress resistant
  • Precise, English and dutch speaking
  • Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
  • Working during early morning and evening hours
  • Weekends included
  • Part time or full time position 
  • Experience working with customer support (preferred, not required)
