DIGITAL MANAGER in Amsterdam

As the Digital Manager you are responsible for developing and implementing the right digital strategy to reach and engage the Dutch consumer, whilst establishing a close relationship with endemic digital media and opinion leaders. In line with Red Bull’s global digital strategy, one key priority of the job is to operate, lead and activate all own Red Bull digital products and channels especially the Local Page redbull.nl. You create engagement for Red Bull channels, especially the Red Bull’s Facebook Page, the Red Bull channel on YouTube and any locally applicable channels and digital outlets. Besides you support all digital initiatives in the country, ensure only the right concepts are developed. As the specialist in the field of game and app development you look for innovative opportunities, in alignment with the international RBMH team. You are the number one source of advice for any digital execution in a country.

  • STRATEGY

    You develop and deliver a yearly national digital program/business plan in line with the global Red Bull Digital Media Strategy and the local business plan priorities and set clear targets to evaluate the success of digital marketing activities.
  • INNOVATE

    You constantly identify, analyze and align the latest digital media trends and emerging technologies, seeking out new opportunities and applying them to the Red Bull strategy. In alignment with both the Red Bull Media House Digital Team as well as the local Marketing/Communications Team in order to make sure that relevant trends are integrated into Red Bull Netherlands strategy, followed by its execution.
  • ENGAGE

    You constantly create innovative ways to reach and engage consumers digitally.
  • BEST PRACTICES

    You benchmark best practice examples in and outside the world of Red Bull which are relevant for Red Bull and Red Bull Media House and shares Dutch best practices quarterly with Red Bull Media House.
  • KPI’S

    You lead and secure that the following digital media activities on the local market are worked with excellence and also prioritize a proper analysis of everything we do to further develop and fine-tune the Red Bull digital strategy for the market: • Ensure top notch management of the redbull.nl as number 1 priority and set up a professional and engaging community management on an ongoing basis, with a strong focus on live experience • Increase visits, increase unique visitors, increase repeat visit rate, increase search engine referrals, increase conversion rate from social networks, reduce bounce rate • Ensure all relevant digital communication channels are managed and activated in line with international strategy (web, online, mobile, games, social media activities, etc) • Oversee and collaborate with Red Bull Media House Digital Media Team on all Mobile/gaming initiatives (console, mobile, online) • Work closely with all internal and external stakeholders and parties (e.g. Brand Management, Media Rights Management, Digital Media Group, Suppliers) to deliver digital solutions and campaigns to further promote the local marketing activities • Ensure that the editorial message to consumers (text, photo, moving images) is web tailored, user-oriented, engaging, up-to-date and accurate • Ensure top notch support for the brand team regarding optimizing advertising impact in earned and own media. In addition, provide advice to the brand team on digital content and advertising campaign development and paid advertising Involve our socially well-connected Consumer Collecting team in relevant initiatives to increase reach and impressions • Collaborate with the Red Bull Media House to maximize efficiencies for content production across digital platforms (e.g. creation, production, distribution and evaluation) • Ensure technical standards and requirements are being met

Your experience includes: (proven performance in)
  1. 4 years work experience preferably as a Digital Media/Interactive Marketing project manager or development manager for a multinational brand
  2. Experience and an excellent eye for detail in web and digital media. An understanding of productions across all digital mediums is desired
  3. Excellent understanding of local/International digital landscape in regards to websites/competitors, social networks and mobile apps/sites. Knowhow/passion on gaming is a plus
  4. Excellent network in Dutch Influencers society
  5. An excellent understanding of how to communicate with different audiences and strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to negotiate, influence and build rapport at all levels, and to explain complex issues in plain English
  6. Excellent organisational and project planning/management skills coupled with the ability to work in a self-directed manner
  7. Experience in budgeting and basic financial reporting
  8. Ability to work and build relationships with a range of partners, stakeholders and external contractors
  9. Ability to influence and advise wider team
  10. Highly efficient and effective project management and organisational skills
