Wat ga je doen?
Support European Warehousing Operations.
- Perform inventory accounting and reconciliation of European warehousing operations in the Netherlands.
- Perform/support EU VAT related procedures (Intrastat/extrastat, custom declaration process, sales listing, etc.
- Monitor transportation costs/agreement and prepare adequate accrual calculation for invoices to bo received on service already performed.
- Support Warehouse Operations Manager for Ad-hoc projects and relevant activities.
Cash disbursement, supplier and T&E payments
- Validating, processing and routing of incoming supplier invoices, documents and employee expense reports.
- Matching of supplier invoice and other required documents or information to validate and verify payment can be made to suppliers. Perform travel expenses reimbursement (system CONCUR) matching receipts with claiming expenses to ensure compliance with company travel policy.
- Processing payments through the online banking system.
- Performing record retention including maintaining vendor files necessary to support input tax declarations.
- providing management reporting and audit support specific to the cash disbursements process for supplier and employee T&E transactions.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of salary and related social/fiscal/pension contribution for relevant employees in accordance with statutory requirements.
General accounting and external reporting
- Providing maintenance tot the general ledger and support preparation of unit financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory reporting requirements.
- Preparing and recording in SAP journal entries as required by the monthly financial closure procedure.
- Reviewing, analysis and reconciling of financial accounts and unit-level trial balances with monthly frequency.
- Recording and controlling the psychical records and actual existence of the assets of the company.
- Performing record retention /archiving and audit support specific tot accounting and external reporting.
- Perform payroll entries accounting and reconciliation with support of the third party provider of payroll services.
- Perform relevant income tax provision accrual, timely income tax declaration and payments with support of the third party provider of income tax services.
Planning and Performance Management
- Providing assistance tot operations in preparing annual operating cost budget and quarterly forecasts. Maintain and update the capital expenditure plan (warehousing operations).
- Performing analysis and review of actual vs budget expenses with finance/operations management.
- Fullfilling of various ad hoc reporting requirements as required by the European and corporate finance teams.

Wat wij vragen:
- Ideally a degree/education in finance and administration or business related field;
- 3-5 years experience in similar position (preferred service, distribution of commercial entity)
- SAP Accounting modules knowledge;
- Windows Excel proficiency;
- Statutory local accounting requirements knowledgde and exposure/experience to US GAAP;
- Hands on and flexible attitude;
- Fluent in Englisch and Dutch, other languages knowledge a plus;
