Introduction

KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation is an international non-profit organization dedicated to the fight against tuberculosis (TB), the deadliest infectious disease in the world. KNCV is the international center of excellence for TB control that promotes effective, efficient, innovative and sustainable tuberculosis control strategies in a national and international context.

Our multidisciplinary team of passionate professionals, with more than ten different nationalities already just at our head office, covers a broad range of expertise such as programmatic TB control, research, clinical management, social science, education, digital health, and project management. Besides our central office in The Hague, the Netherlands, we have a regional office in Central Asia and country offices in Africa and (central) Asia. KNCV has appr 500 staff worldwide

Next year will be particular exciting at KNCV since the 49th Union World Conference on Lung Health is coming to The Hague.

Our work is innovative and diverse and will get you acquainted rapidly with a broad range of in-depth
HRM issues. We are responsible for developing and maintaining the Human Resource Management (inter)national policy, advising and supporting the national and international divisions/units and implementing the policy in the line. In
addition, we maintain the staff and payroll records at central organization and international level. We lead recruitment processes and work on HRM innovative projects. Our team consists of 1 HRM manager, 2 HR advisors, 1 HR officer and hopefully you.

During your internship you will have the opportunity to apply your academic curriculum to real-world situations. You will work in an international (Africa, Asia, Central Asia) and dynamic environment and will meet passionate people
from all over the world. The spoken language is English.

Job description

You'll be helping us in many ways, from HRM administration processes and daily operation tasks to HRM projects such as implementing a new digital appraisal system, developing a new HRM handbook, update HRM procedures, support in recruitment activities (inter)nationally.

Your talent and own interests will be leading in the project selection you will be part of.
