Office Manager Amsterdam

This position may well be someone who wants to get their "foot in the door" or a successful startup based in Central Amsterdam. This position is suited to a seasoned office manager who is passionate about being a dynamic and growing organization, where a "roll up your sleeves "attitude is much valued, you will be a strong communicator with a positive can-do attitude and can demonstrate proactively taking initiative where needed.

This is a crucial role for our customers, employees and other visitors to the very highest positive experience in one of our most established offices. The right candidate will care passionately about keeping everyone happy, providing exceptional support in the running and efficient office, with good attention to detail.

You will become a central hub and life office, and you will be able to achieve a high quality employee social event .

Requirements

  • Be the first point of contact when candidates and customers come to the company office.
  • Help organize and lead company events and outings - create Fun in our office!
  • Basic office duties such as filing, copying, sending packages, and stocking kitchen.
  • Order office / kitchen supplies.
  • Handle catered lunches for office and meetings.
  • Provide support to other offices, and back-up other office managers when needed.
  • Establish effective working relationships with colleagues and external contacts and provide flexible support to other Managers as required.
  • Manage compliance with Health & Safety requirements, including a daily tour of the office and ensuring that fire extinguishers are up to date, first aid kits, first aiders and fire wardens are trained
  • Project manage office moves, changes where appropriate and as we continue to grow
  • Proactively plan office layout as the company continues to hire and expand, making sure that new members have the right desk set-up, security pass and office awareness when they start.
  • Conduct tours of the office, including health & safety, for new joiners and visitors.
  • Manage the relationship with the building managers to ensure That the company is getting the best service possible and that the office is maintained to the right standard (including the organizers) they should, etc)
  • Ensure that visitors get a positive experience from the office environment, including experience on the floor and floor
  • Keeping the office tidy and looking great

  • Minimaal een hbo-diploma;
  • Project Management / Office move experience
  • Space planning experience to support a growing operation
  • Event organization, team-building, Christmas parties
  • 2 years of Office Management experience/Office Facilities Management
