Cozy Restaurant Looking for Lead Server/Manager in Amsterdam
Popular restaurant in Amsterdam specializing in nachos and tropical cocktails is seeking a head server to work 5 nights/week (Wednesday-Sunday) and manage scheduling and reservations. Parakeet is only 4 months old but already consistently busy and in need of a strong front-of-house leader with good energy, a positive attitude, confidence, humility and drive.
Wat ga je doen?
Lead Server is primarily responsible for the guest experience while in the restaurant, making sure everyone's needs are met from beginning to end, often directing other employees to perform certain tasks to keep the shift running smoothly. Lead Server also monitors staff to make sure restaurant policies are being enforced, money being handled correctly, and costs running at proper levels. Lead Server is also responsible for taking reservations over the phone or email, maintaining an online reservation calendar, and playing a role in assisting restaurant owners with scheduling, hiring and planning.

Wat wij vragen:
- Er is geen minimale opleiding vereist.
- 2 years minimum serving and/or bartending experience
- Fluency in English a requirement; proficiency (or better) in Dutch a PLUS
- Social Hygiene Certification a PLUS
