Work Experience Internship Subsidies & Fiscal Incentives
Are you looking for a break from your study, and up for a challenge? We are looking for an intern who wants to help us in the sustainability division of Vopak with various subsidy opportunities!
Requirements:
WO or Master Bachelor level with affinity for environmental, economic, commercial and social benefits of sustainable development;
(near native) Dutch language skills are necessary;
Basic understanding of the Dutch subsidy schemes is a plus;
Insight into and affinity with technology;
Analytically strong and advanced Excel skills;
Personality: pragmatic, proactive, flexible, eagerness to learn, result-oriented. Also strong communication skills in order to interact with various stakeholders (a.o. colleagues, suppliers, government agencies.
What will you be doing
You take the initiative on a day-to-day basis to identify subsidy opportunities and supervise various subsidy applications within the various businesses of Vopak Management Netherlands. You will work in close collaboration with our external advisor, so that you will be supported, when necessary, with specific experience and expertise during your internship.
You will also be part of the SHEQ (Safety Health Environment and Quality) team of the Europe & Africa divisional of Vopak.

● Initiate, draft and submit subsidy applications;
● Update the current subsidy tool with the latest insights;
● Supervise various subsidy applications and actively follow up;
● Actively monitor CAPEX and OPEX projects for subsidy potential;
Good to know:
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, this internship will be on a remote basis until further notice. Duration of the internship is preferably 3-4 months, however final duration is open for discussion. Also, weekly hours can be determined during the interview phase.
