Junior Scientific Writer

Genmab is focused on the creation and development of innovative and differentiated antibody products, with the aim of improving the lives of cancer patients. 

The Team

The scientific communication team is responsible for providing scientific writing and communications support for our Translational Research (TR), New Antibody Product Research (NAPR) and Antibody Research and Technologies (ART) teams. Genmab will support you through your career with internal and external training where applicable. 

The Position

You will support the research teams by writing study reports to summarize preclinical or translational data sets. Your writing will support the filing of patent applications by describing experimental studies. Also, you will be part of the team that coordinates scientific conference coverage and compiles conference reports. Your activities will focus on writing scientific narratives of nonclinical pharmacology data for regulatory filings. You will support IPR-related activities and perform scientific searches to generate overviews for our expert teams in antibody discovery, development and technologies.

Provide scientific writing support in content and document layout to Scientists in the TR, NAPR and ART departments (NL- and US-based) under supervision of Scientific Writers (NL-based)

Provide support in writing nonclinical reports and summaries for different purposes, such as regulatory documents and patent application

Managing review and approval processes of the documentation with internal stakeholders

Coordinate and compile information from conference publications related to Genmab pipeline and research

Your Profile

At least M. Sc. in Medical Biology or similar.

Excellent knowledge and understanding of immunology, antibody biology or cancer biology

Passion and talent for scientific writing

intrinsic attention to detail

Fluent in written and spoken English

Proficient in Microsoft Office

Team player with demonstrated ability to collaborate with a diverse group of internal stakeholders (e.g. scientists, writers, IP lawyers, research associates)

Strong communication skills -

Basic skills in GraphPad Prism is a plus.

Knowledge of regulatory documentation (IND, BLA, EMA, etc.)
