As Intern in the field of event marketing at border concepts GmbH you will be part of a dedicated and creative team. You become acquainted with the operative and strategic area of border concepts' visitor marketing for fairs and you will, depending on your skills, work independently on different marketing projects. border concepts places great value one the of all their projects. You support our team in the day-to-day business but to a greater extend you will work on a comprehensive fair project including the planning, implementation and evaluation of promotion activities for educational fairs.
Your tasks
- Marketing and promotion activities prior to fairs
- Coordination and organization of student promoters in the Netherlands
- Participation in the day-to-day business of border concepts
- Internal and external communication and collaboration with different departments,
- suppliers and service providers
- Support of the online marketing for the fairs
- Desk research: Marketing channels and marketing evaluation
Requirements
- At least 4 semesters completed, preferably student of economics, communication, socio-economic sciences or humanities
- Mandatory internship as part of your study program
- Experience in promotion is advantageous
- Good skills in Microsoft office application
- Independent and thorough manner of working
- Talent for organization and coordination
- Stress-resistant and proactive
- Team-player, commitment and pronounced communication skills
- Open for feedback and willing to learn
- Open and winning personality
- Driving license class B and willingness to travel
- Native Dutch speaker and good English skills
Time frame
- from September 2016; minimum 3 months (first 6 -8 weeks in Gronau; then in Amsterdam)
- 40 hours per week
