Parttime mail carrier at PostNL in the area of Rotterdam

Are you looking for a parttime job in Rotterdam that keeps you moving? Then the job as a mail carrier at PostNL should suit you! As a mail carrier, you ensure that the mail is delivered accurately and on time to the recipients in your area.

Your workday starts at the PostNL depot. Here you pick up the sorted mail and have a chat with colleagues. Then you load up your bags and independently set off with the mail. You are responsible for the on time delivery of letter mail and mailbox packages in your own delivery district.

Besides delivering the mail efficiently, customer focus is also an important quality. You are friendly and get along well with recipients. A smile and a kind word make a difference to the people who receive their mail.

Fit and flexible
As a mail carrier at PostNL, you are physically fit and able to bike and walk long distances. You are not afraid to go out in any kind of weather and make sure the mail is always delivered on time. 

Working days and hours
As a parttime mail carrier you will work between Tuesday and Saturday. The great thing about this job is that you can decide which days you want to work. This gives you the flexibility to combine your work with other activities. Your workdays will start between 09.00 in the morning and 12.00 in the afternoon. Which time you'll start exactly will be communicated by PostNL, also which area you'll be delivering the mail in. A shift will be around 3 hours long.

What we offer:

• A parttime job as a mail carrier for PostNL;
• An hourly wage of €13.27 per hour from the age of 18;
• A flexible job where you determine your own working hours and working days;
• A bicycle allowance after three months of employment of €10.50 per month (for 16 hours or more per week);
• An allowance of €8,17 per month for using your Smartphone while working.
