We have several market analyst internships available at Shell. These are internship assignments related to the analysis of technical market data. You can assist in building visualisation dashboard or cost analysys and market analysis.

Base Chemicals Market Analyst

Profile: affinity with analytics & excel, well organised, interested in project management and market analysis

Activities:

Build visualisation dashboard for Ethylene Supply/ Demand balances in Europe

Development of Base Chemicals Europe performance indicator dashboard

Development, maintenance and update of various existing key tools and dashboards, such as the Base Chem whiteboard & C+P daily dashboard

Organisation of Base Chemicals away day

Solvents market analyst

Profile: affinity with continuous improvement and market analysis

Key activities:

Work with technical, marketing and sales colleagues to review the market: deep dive applications, markets, customers and identify prospects

Six sigma analysis of pricing handrail pricing requests and analysis, develop and implement recommendations for improvement

Development, maintenance and update of various existing key tools and dashboards

Cost analysis – work with finance to bring various cost dashboards in line with real cost 

PODer techno-commercial market analyst

Profile: Techno-commercial, affinity with product technology, market scouting

Key activities:

Work with technical, marketing and sales colleagues to review the market and identify prospects for products with specific growth potential

You will have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of project management, market analysis and also deal with cost analysis within a close-knit team that is close to the action. We work in small teams, so there is plenty of room for your own input and development, and you will receive professional guidance in the workplace. There is also an active Young Shell network, which regularly organizes activities for interns and young employees. For a end study the monthly allowance is 550 Euro Gross.

Highly motivated candidates, who would like to gain work experience within their studies at a multinational and who like to roll up their sleeves;This position fits within a wide range of studies, such as technical, business and marketing, communication, project management. Affinity with project-based work and a hands-on mentality;Characteristics: eager to learn, independent, enterprising, strong in organization, good in communication, representative and flexible;A good command of English is a must. Knowledge of Dutch is a preference;Knowledge and experience with programs such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

You must be registered as a student in an university in the Netherlands!
