About the job

As a Utility Electrician, you are responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical installations in utility buildings, including offices, schools, hospitals, and other large facilities.

You will work on a variety of installations, such as lighting, security, climate control, and power systems, ensuring these systems operate safely and efficiently.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Install and connect electrical installations according to technical specifications.
• Perform maintenance work and troubleshoot issues.
• Test and commission electrical systems.
• Work on and improve lighting, security, fire alarm, and power systems.
• Read technical drawings and diagrams and perform tasks according to guidelines.
• Collaborate with colleagues and project managers to complete projects within set timeframes and quality standards.
• Ensure a safe working environment and adhere to safety and quality regulations.
  
  

Profile

• Minimum MBO level 3 or 4 diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with electrical installations in the utility sector.
• Knowledge of electrical standards and regulations (such as NEN 3140).
• Experience in reading technical drawings and diagrams.
• Independent, precise, and solution-oriented.
• Holder of a VCA certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
• Category B driver’s license and willingness to travel to various project locations.
