What are you going to do:

Do you have a passion for Japanese cuisine and the skills to shine behind the grill? This is your chance to work full-time as a Japanese teppanyaki chef in Amsterdam. In this role, you will prepare the finest meat, fish and vegetarian dishes right in front of the guests. With shared tables and a close connection between chef and diner, every evening becomes an unforgettable dining experience.

Daily tasks:

As a teppanyaki chef, you will combine top-quality ingredients with traditional Japanese techniques. Your tasks include:

• Preparing fish, meat and vegetarian dishes directly on the grill;
• Ensuring every dish looks and tastes perfect;
• Checking ingredients for quality and freshness;
• Keeping the kitchen and equipment clean and organized;
• Following procedures and recipes accurately;
• Advising on improvements to menus and workflows;

What we offer

• A 1-year contract with the possibility of extension;
• Salary starting at €2.566,15 + 5% above collective agreement;

What we ask

• MBO level 3 certificate;
• 1+ year experience in an authentic Japanese cuisine;
• Previous experience as a teppanyaki chef is a plus;
• Basic level of English.
