In this varied role, you ensure that our machine (which blasts steel) keeps running smoothly. You are responsible for the incoming, internal, and outgoing flow of materials. Good work!

What will you do as a Transport Operator?

• Loading and unloading materials from trucks and preparing/masking materials before they go into the machine.

• Blasted products come out of the machine, you prepare them for their next step.

• Reloading materials onto a truck so they can be delivered neatly to our customers.

• Of course, you don’t do this alone, you work together with colleagues. We consider it important that you follow orders carefully and neatly, but we give you plenty of freedom in how you perform your tasks. Experience in this role or industry is not required. With strong determination and a willingness to learn, we are confident that you will quickly feel at home on our work floor.

We specialize in blasting, wet painting, powder coating, metallizing, and applying fire-retardant coatings. At Steel Protection, we have an open and informal culture of hands-on workers. Since the acquisition by Anders Invest, the organization is undergoing major developments: new management, two new locations, an ERP implementation, and a strong focus on employee development and sustainable business practices.

• You don’t have a 9-to-5 mentality; your workday starts at 06:00 without a morning mood, and on Fridays we finish early.

• No work experience required.

• You are willing to ask questions, communicate well, and are open to developing yourself.

• You are honest, precise, and take responsibility. Within our company there are plenty of opportunities for growth and development. This is not mandatory but possible — for example, obtaining certificates or developing toward roles such as sprayer/blaster, crane operator, or team leader.

You will receive a one-year contract for 38 hours per week, with the intention of converting it into a permanent contract after one year. The number of hours and working days depend on your availability.
