This is an exciting temporary opportunity for someone eager to grow their marketing skills within two dynamic IHG hotels. As this role covers maternity leave, it is ideal for a fast learner who’s ready to step in, take ownership, and explore a wide range of marketing activities — from content creation to local marketing and brand communication.

Your day to day:

Content Creation & Communications

• Write and dispatch press releases for hotel news, events, and announcements

  
  

• Create blog posts about local events, trends, and city happenings

  
  

• Develop engaging content for local newsletters and magazines

  
  

• Write internal communications about updates, new offerings, and initiatives

  
  

Local & City Marketing

• Monitor and promote relevant city events and local happenings

  
  

• Support destination marketing initiatives for both hotels

  
  

• Identify opportunities to link hotel offerings with local activities

  
  

Brand Management & Internal Communications

• Ensure brand alignment across all marketing materials and content

  
  

• Keep TV screens across both hotel properties updated with current information

  
  

• Support employer branding initiatives and internal team communications

  
  

• Maintain brand consistency across guest-facing and internal touchpoints

  
  

Website & Digital Management

• Support website updates and content management

  
  

• Ensure all website information remains accurate and up to date

  
  

Team Support

• Provide flexible support to the marketing team depending on priorities

  
  

• Assist with ad-hoc marketing projects and quick-turnaround requests

  
  

Job Requirements:

• Some experience or strong interest in marketing, communications, or hospitality

  
  

• Excellent writing skills in English (Dutch is a plus)

  
  

• Creative mindset with an eye for detail

  
  

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment

  
  

• Strong communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude

  
  

• Comfortable working independently as well as part of a team

  
  

• Knowledge of Canva is required

  
  

• WordPress knowledge is a plus, but not required

  
  

• Affinity for branding, storytelling, and digital communication
