Your Day to Day

In this role you are a responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of guest rooms, common areas and facilities to ensure a high-quality experience for all our guest and colleagues. In the first place it is your duty to keep the areas of the hotel, both front and back of house spotless. Next to the cleaning you have a supporting role in various departments of the hotel. Apart from great communication with the different departments it is important that you are a star in managing your time to ensure the job is done at the end of the day.

• Clean and tidy guest rooms, bathrooms and public areas

  
  

• Cleaning the heart of house areas such as the canteen, offices and staff changing

  
  

• Replace linens, towels, and other amenities as needed and ensure all dirty linen go to the laundry company

  
  

• Report any maintenance issues or room damage to management

  
  

• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and used safely

  
  

• Delivering extra amenities such as a toothbrush, shaving kits or laundry to our guests.

  
  

• Assist with laundry and other housekeeping duties as required.

  
  

• The issuing of the team's uniforms when they are returned from the dry-cleaning company.

  
  

• Ad-hoc duties as required – unexpected moments when we must pull together as a team to get a task done.

  
  

What we need from you 

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Being able to communicate in English or Dutch
