Wat je gaat doen

As a warehouse worker in the night shift at GLS Utrecht, you will play an integral role in ensuring the smooth flow of logistics operations. Working in a collaborative team environment, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep the parcel distribution process efficient and organized. This role requires physical activity, attention to detail, and adherence to safety guidelines, making it ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and thrives in a structured setting.

What You Will Do:

• Loading and unloading: ensuring parcels are moved efficiently and safely.
• Scanning and sorting: organizing shipments accurately for distribution.
• Operating equipment: using hand pallet trucks and EPT (training provided if needed).
• Inspecting shipments: identifying any deviations such as damage or ADR goods.
• Maintaining order: keeping the workspace clean and following safety, quality, and environmental guidelines.

• Salary up to €3,000 gross per month (incl. Allowances).
• From 08:00 PM to 12:00 AM: 8.75% shift allowance = €16.10 gross per hour
• From 12:00 AM to 05:00 AM: 11.25% shift allowance = €16.47 gross per hour
• Temporary contract with the prospect of permanent employment.
• Part-time role, minimum 16 hours per week.
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km.
• Training, guidance, and EPT certification if needed.
