Wat ga je doen?

You will assist the Head of Communications and Marketing and Head of Media Relations with a variety of communications tasks. This would most likely include:

•Content creation which might include drafting press releases, blogs and social media decks.

•Helping pitch press releases to (international) media

•Liaising with DroneClash teams so that we can get their stories and technology talked about in the run up to the event

• Help make short videos for website/social media

• Design some posters/ graphics

• On the day itself, helping manage media and posting on a livestream

While it is a demanding project , there is a broad and capable team in place who will support and guide you in your work.

About DroneClash

DroneClash is an competition organised by the Technical University of Delft's Micro Aerial Vehicle Laboratory and sponsored by the Ministry of Defence and Dutch Police. This spectacular competition - a sort of Robot Wars in 3D will take place on March 16th 2019 in aircraft hangar in Katwijk. Teams from the Netherlands and beyond will deploy fighter drones to try and bring down the opposing team's Queen drone in an attempt to win a share of 50,000 Euros in prize money

DroneClash 2019

The primary goal of DroneClash this year is to organise a fun event which showcases and stimulates counter-drone technology. Secondly we want to make the competition more international Finally we want to develop DroneClash's story so that it becomes a well known and credible international event.

8 hours per week between now and March 8th, with longer hours in the week of March 11th, leadingup to the event on March 16th.

Ideally you are available all day on March 15th, 16th and 18th. Ideally you will work in TU Delft's MAVLab on Thursday mornings, alongside other members of the DroneClash team.
